C.A.R. kicked off a new consumer advertising campaign as well last week with a theme of “Your Piece of California. Your Peace of Mind.” The campaign includes TV and radio ads and a new consumer website: www.yourpieceofcalifornia.com (a Spanish language version is also up at www.lallavedetutranquilidad.com).
The new websites feature current real estate news, median home price data, links to connect consumers with REALTORS© and information on the home buying and selling process.
But wait (as they say), there’s more.
The March CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS© (C.A.R.) report for California home sales and prices is hot off the press: for the month, the median home price increased almost 21 percent while home sales increased 2.5 percent.
In addition, C.A.R.’s Unsold Inventory Index fell to five months in March.
C.A.R. president Steve Goddard said the March median price gain was the largest in more than five years, and that he expects California may lead the nation in median home price gains going forward.
